Model Georgia Fowler has had quite the visit to Cannes in the South of France. Travelling with the Dior Beauty team, she was a VIP guest during her visit to the beautiful La Guerite, a large island terrace with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea and Cannes.
Joining the likes of French actor of Outlander fame, Cesar Domboy and Italian actress, Matilda Lutz, Fowler celebrated the unveiling of Dior’s new haute fragrance, Dioriviera.
“The fragrance is divine and will whisk me away to memories of the French Riviera wherever I am,” says the New Zealand born model. “It’s floral with hints of fig [so] it has the perfect freshness for daytime wear with enough body and balance to wear into the evening.”
Created by the House’s newly appointed Perfume Creation Director (and fragrance rockstar), Francis Kurkdjian, this stunning new perfume is the latest addition into Dior’s La Collection Privee collection.
With notes of fig and rose, this scent is at once graceful, sunny and sensual and instantly conjures the stunning serenity of the South of France. Grasse, in the South of France was also the location of Christian Dior’s stunning home The Château de la Colle Noire, which he renovated meticulously and saw as his favourite place of refuge.
Whilst in Cannes, Fowler also paid a visit to the Dior Beauty suite at the Majestic Hotel where she had her makeup done for her red-carpet events.
“Besides being the most breathtaking sun filled room, filled with manicurists, hair and makeup teams,” says Fowler. “I loved being able to look over the balcony right onto the Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet.”
“When I think of the French Riviera I think of elegance,” says Fowler. “There is also such a sense of effortless beauty and serenity. I always adore my time there, and find it has the perfect balance of the two worlds I love- Fast paced glamour and a holiday by the sea.”
