During lockdown, we’ve seen fashion pivot to all things comfort. House slippers and neutral sweatshirts took over our wardrobes and despite many of us slowly making our way back into public life, it’s been quite the adjustment to trade in loungewear for wirey bras and ‘nice’ underwear again.
But it seems everyone’s favourite high-street fashion brand, Zara, has heard our prayers by releasing their first ever lingerie collection.
And not only is it affordable, with pieces starting at just $26 AUD approx, but the range is specifically geared towards comfortable dressing.
It’s a departure from the wired-cups that squash everything down or strappy bottoms that look more like something you’d use to catch an animal with than underwear—a common practice we’ve come to expect from some lingerie brands.
Instead, it’s a collection filled with soft, relaxed-fit bras that still offer support, silky camisoles, cosy knits and breathable pyjamas.
The luxurious collection, which consists of 158 pieces, will include bras, underwear, various knits, pyjamas, shapewear, robes and camisoles.
Available in mostly neutral, earth-toned shades, the line covers everything from cotton basics to ethereal silk sets, to the more risqué lace varieties.
Stay tuned for when we’ll be seeing the collection in Australian stores, but in the meantime, scroll through for a sneak peek.
