When your wedding involves Swedish woodlands, a historic castle and two of the world’s most stylish people, it’s bound to be photogenic. But nothing prepared us for quite how beautiful the wedding of Swedish It-girl Babba Canales and Carl Waldekranz, both Forbes 30 Under 30 power players, would be.
Their wedding weekend took place amongst the grounds of Häringe Palace, with the bride and her bridal party getting ready within the castle and the ceremony taking place in the estate’s apple orchard.
Canales wanted her wedding to feature both New York and Scandinavian designers, US Vogue reports, wearing a whimsical Marchesa lace gown with billowing sheer sleeves before changing into a custom-made shirt and skirt by Swedish designer Josephine Dahlin for the reception.
Her five bridesmaids wore mauve silk satin dresses in different styles, with baby’s breath flower crowns made by the groom’s mother.
Helsinki-based photographer Johanna Rosenlew took the official snaps on the big day.
