If you, like us, dream of resembling a cloud of fluffy white tulle on your big day, then we have some good news.
Fashion’s favourite puffy-sleeved dress designer has officially launched her debut bridal collection, throwing tradition and cookie-cutter moulds to the wind in the process.
And yes, it’s killer.
Hailing from East-London, British-born designer launched her eponymous line back in 2014 and has been taking the fashion world by storm ever since.
Filled with bountiful layers of flouncy tulle, smocking and rebellious ruffles, her signature voluminous dresses have been a hit, particularly as the cottagecore trend rages on.
In a season full of slip dresses and sleek silhouettes, Goddard injects some flounce and drama into bridal dressing, for any bride that wants to avoid the standard lace fits.
Goddard, whose icon status was cemented when her pink tulle dress was spotted on one Villanelle in Killing Eve, told British Vogue at her spring/summer 2021 show that wedding dresses were a “no brainer” for her brand, adding that she believes “there has to be an energy to it that’s not stern or serious.”
Ranging from approximately $3,300 to $18,000 AUD, the 12-piece collection is available as made-to-order but brides looking to branch out a little can also choose from an assortment of non-traditional colours.
And if that’s not unique enough then Goddard offers up bespoke gowns to be workshopped with the designer.

A shirred floor-length taffeta dress with frilled, elasticised straps and plenty of room to mingle and boogie, unencumbered by movement-restricting fabrics.
A heavenly dress with not one, not two, but three tiers of hand-smocked Italian tulle that just ever-so-slightly skims the floor. We’d definitely pair with some bold heels to flash when twirling on the dance floor.
An ivory taffeta dream with gathered detailing and a bubble hem to turn the volume up a notch. We most certainly do.
A structurally magnificent piece of work, this taffeta creation features a gathered bodice with velvet ribbon detailing, and it’s all we could ever want in a gown.
For the vintage-inspired bride, this ivory silk taffeta midi dress has classic written all over it, except for the asymmetrical empire waist that adds a whimsical touch.
In similar style to some of her iconic ready-to-wear designs, this ankle-skimming dress features sheer, voluminous sleeves over—you guessed it—tulle.
If ruffles are your thing, then may we introduce you to Agata? We think you’ll get along. This dress is great for those looking to show off their decolletage.
A fitted bodice and drop-line waist are punctuated with rows of delicate velvet ribbon over ruched fabric with this dress, perfect for an outdoor ceremony.
For a soft yet playful look, opt for this lace-up midi dress with a square neckline and soft Italian tulle. If this isn’t first-dance-worthy then we just don’t know what is.
A personal favourite, this dress shines due to its versatility. Not only is it a stunning and ultra-flattering full-length tafetta gown with the perfect amount of ‘puff’ in its sleeves, but in such a wearable style, it’s not just going to sit unworn in your closet forever.
If like to let your pins do the talking, this bridal take on the cotton shirt dress may be up your alley. Crisp and chic up top, with layers of ruffles that’ll be swinging to your every move.
