Arguably, Britain is home to two royal families: the Windsors, headed by Queen Elizabeth II; and the Beckhams, headed by former Spice Girls’ member turned fashion designer, Victoria Beckham.
Despite having an incredibly high-profile marriage with divorce rumours and false reports circulating almost weekly, Victoria and David Beckham have managed to stay happily married for 19 years with four children – Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven – plus a dog named Olive between them.
To celebrate 10 years of her namesake fashion label, Victoria brought together her entire family for a photo shoot with British Vogue, during which she opened up about life in the spotlight.
“People have been making things up about our relationship for 20 years,” she said of her marriage with David, adding that they have learned to “[ignore] the nonsense”.
“But these things have a wider effect on the people around us, and that’s unfair,” she added.
The mother-of-four also opened up about her children’s fashion sense, revealing her seven-year-old daughter, Harper, has “been able to run in Alaïa platforms since she was three,” but that she doesn’t wear heels or makeup outside of the house.
“On one hand, she’s quite girly, but on the other hand she has three big brothers and likes to run around and play football. She’s not scared of being pushed over,” she noted.
