The Venice International Film Festival is the oldest film festival in the world and is one of the “big three” alongside Cannes and Berlin. With such a prestigious title comes a flock of celebrities, actors promoting their new films to models and bloggers alike, dressed top-to-toe in stunning gowns and extravagant jewellery.
The 11-day event has just begun and this year’s red carpet is already living up to last year’s show-stoppers, with A-listers such Emma Stone, Claire Foy and Naomi Watts kicking things off with Louis Vuitton and Valentino Couture.
Here are the best-dressed thus far – both on and off the carpet.
