If you, like us, adore the brands that Kate Middleton (and other royals) have on rotation, prepare to mark one of 2020’s biggest fashion collaborations in your diary. The Vampire’s Wife and H&M have teamed up to create an affordable, sustainable collection for us to dip into the Duchess of Cambridge’s coveted wardrobe.
The brand, founded by British designer, model and muse Susie Cave, is known for its flattering silhouettes, feminine details and celebration of the female form, with its newest collaboration hailed as “progressive in both attitude and fabrication.” Bringing their signature puffed sleeves and ruffled hemlines to the high street, the collection is nothing short of a gothic dream.
Most importantly, the Vampire’s Wife x H&M collection spotlights the brand’s ethos of sustainability, with the collection made from sustainably sourced materials, utilising recycled nylon and polyester.
Statement pieces include lace dresses with chic velvet, silvery capes and Peter Pan collars, and we imagine it’ll be quickly seen on celebrity fans of the brand including Keira Knightley, Alexa Chung and Margot Robbie. We might even catch a glimpse of one of its black Prairie style lace creations on Killing Eve’s stylish villain, Villanelle in its upcoming season.
“I hope this collection gives as much joy to those who wear it, as it did for me to create it,” says Cave.
You can shop the collection from October 22, but in the meantime, here are some of our favourite pieces.
