A star is born
Legendary Italian fashion house Tod’s has unveiled its largest Australian store, opening the brand’s Melbourne store on Tuesday night. Tod’s artisans were flown in from Milan for the night, which saw VIP guests enjoy demonstrations surrounding the label’s leather goods. Names like Kate Waterhouse, Sarah Ellen and Lee Oliviera were among the invited, who sipped on champagne while admiring the storied D-Styling bag, which has been reimagined for a new era. The bespoke artisan activations will be open to customers until May 5.
Not so basic
Rag & Bone are releasing a limited edition run of 100 white T-shirts, inspired by a number of the brand’s muses. Helena Christensen, Gabriel-Kane Day Lewis and Aussie twin sister band Say Lou Lou are among those enlisted for the task, which sees a self-captured image appear on a white T-shirt. 20 per cent of the proceeds will go towards a charity of their choice.
Shady lady
Adam Selman and Le Specs have released another range of (soon to be cult) sunglasses. Inspired by motorsports, the new collection has a decidedly gritty edge, with coloured lenses, wraparound frames and 80s-style silhouettes included in the limited edition capsule. Full throttle sunnies? We’re on board.
