The Venice Film Festival is in full swing with the biggest names in Hollywood taking to the red carpet ahead of the premieres of their latest projects. One such premiere, which took place overnight, brought together rumoured couple Lily-Rose Depp and Timothée Chalamet for the first time – and the photos are everything we’d hoped for and more.
The stars of the upcoming Netflix movie, The King, walked the red carpet together with Lily wearing a pale pink strapless Chanel gown, matching scarf and silver Jimmy Choo heels and Timothée topping the festival’s best dressed list in a grey Haider Ackermann suit with a shiny silk shirt, a tweaked cummerbund and black pointy-toe boots.
Timothée and Lily, who portray Henry V and Catherine of Valois in the movie, were joined by their costars Joel Edgerton, Ben Mendelsohn, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sean Harris, and director David Michod. But all eyes were on the rumoured couple, who were first spotted together in October 2018 and since then, have managed to keep their romance out of the spotlight.
While the two kept things professional on the red carpet, there were definitely a few moments where they were spotted gazing into each other’s eyes and smiling.
Despite being pictured together multiple times hugging and spending time together over the past year, both Lily and Timothée have stayed silent about their relationship.
Back in January, Timothée dodged questions about his rumoured girlfriend during his appearance at the Golden Globes when an Access Hollywood whether he would be meeting up with Lily after the awards show. Timothée laughed at the question and replied: ‘I’m here with my mum.’ The reporter didn’t give up that easily though, saying, ‘Lily makes you speechless’, to which the actor replied ‘Yeah’.
More of these two please.
