While we’re all for shunning tradition and rocking an alternative wedding dress, the floral wedding dress trend is one that has been done by many a bride but hasn’t always had us convinced. Until now.
New York couple Roxanne Conso and Romain Pavee recently tied the knot in a stunning beachside ceremony in Tulum, Mexico, and we couldn’t get past the bride’s dress.

The custom-made Marchesa gown is made of lace and is in a classic design with a V neck and deep V back, but the floral applique gives it a unique edge.
“The appliqué florals. The lace. Each detail of my gown epitomized the natural beauty of Mexico and upon trying it on, I knew instantly that it was my dress,” Conso tells Harper’s Bazaar US. “The talented team at Marchesa made my idea to wear a non-traditional, non-bridal gown a reality, and soon I was walking down the aisle to a solo Spanish guitarist in my absolute dream dress.”
The bride wore a simple white veil and kept it simple in barefeet for the ceremony on the sand.
