Calling a castle โ€˜homeโ€™ has got to be the dream, right? And designer Heidi Middleton, one half of the duo that founded sass & bide in 1999 has just made it a reality, pocketing the keys to a sprawling, towering chateau in Medoc in the Bordeaux region in the south west of France.

โ€œYou called our nameโ€ฆ and we came,โ€ Middleton wrote in her Instagram post celebrating her new home. The designer currently lives in Paris with her family, having relocated to France in 2015.

The familyโ€™s new home is situated in Medoc, the wine-making town in the south west of France slowly making a name for itself as one of the trendiest villages in the country. Thatโ€™s mostly thanks to Medocโ€™s most famous resident: the food blogger and life goals incarnate: Mimi Thorisson. It should come as no surprise that Thorisson and Middleton are friends, with both sharing Instagram snaps from a lunch the two families shared four months ago. Middleton captioned one โ€œdreaming with a fellow dreamerโ€. And now, neighbour!
