The Most OTT Celeb Wedding Dresses Of All Time

Kicking off our list of the most over-the-top celebrity wedding dresses is none other than Princess Diana. With the voluminous sleeves and that train – all 7.62 metres of it to be exact – scarcely seen fitting into Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ wedding photos. (Even though this one is indeed OTT it’s Princess Di so we do secretly love it).

Celine Dion married Rene Angeli in 1994 and her gown was giving off some serious Marie Antionette vibes. Designed by Mirella and Steve Gentile and taking over 1,000 hours to create, the gown featured a 20 foot train, flared sleeves and intricate embroidery. Celine topped the look off with a tiara (can you call it that?) that weighed seven pounds and was made up over over 2,000 Austrian crystals.

The dress everybody’s favourite Love Actually star wore when she married Kenneth Branagh is best described with one word: uncommon. 

We’re just glad ombre pink wedding dresses aren’t a thing anymore…wait, were they ever??? 

Lily Allen’s wedding dress – which made headlines in 2014 when the British singer revealed that she’d lost it – is a Chanel Couture design and cost a whopping £200,000… yup. 

Not quite a dress, we know, but the get-up Pamela Anderson sported during her wedding to Kid Rock in 2006 still definitely earns the title of being over the top. 

We can say – almost for certain – that the singing diva would definitely opt for something different if she were to do this one over. 

Dame Elizabeth Taylor wore a canary yellow babydoll dress to her wedding with Richard Burton. Only Liz could pull this one off! 

Rita Wilson wed husband Tom Hanks back in 1988. The dress says it all, really. 

Irish singer Siobhan Fahey donned this over the top ensemble during her wedding with Eurythmics singer David Stewart in 1987. 

Mandy Smith (English singer and daughter of Patti Smith) wore this outrageous dress and oversized tulle veil during her wedding to Bill Wyman.
