The streets of Milan are buzzing with an energy that can only be attributed to Fall Fashion Week. From the Milanese style set to the stars who descend on the Italian city, Milan Fashion Week is arguably one of the best-dressed of the month.
On the runways are some of the biggest shows of the calendar. Gucci set the tone with it’s first collection post-Creative Director, Sabato De Sarno, DSquared2’s 30th anniversary show was a celebration of its history and included catwalk appearances from Doechii and Naomi Campbell and Fendi also marked a milestone with its centennial in a stunning collection steeped with sentimentality that still felt utterly fresh.
While these runways give insight on the trends to come, the ones we’re wearing now are seen on the streets.
From monochromatic ensembles in every hue to cinched, peplum-esque waists and texture on texture in the form of fringing, embroidery and faux furs, made for a visual feast.
