For her second royal engagement, Meghan ditched the polished royal look we’ve become accustomed to and opted instead for a messy bun and trousers (just when you thought it was impossible to love her any more). The 37-year-old wore black wide-legged trousers underneath a Smythe wool coat – which available for pre-order now – an alpaca scarf by Sentaler, which is now sold out, and a pair of simple black pumps by Sarah Flint.
Markle’s Christmas outfit for her first Christmas with Prince Harry and the Royals comprised of a camel Sentaler coat, Chloe ‘Pixie’ suede crossbody bag, Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee suede boots, diamond drop earrings and a Philip Treacy hat. Underneath the coat, Meghan wore a velvet Club Monaco dress. Safe to say, she nailed it.
It was the outfit that broke the internet and subsequently sparked the craze we now affectionately refer to as the ‘Meghan Effect’. Announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, Markle wore a white coat by Line the Label – which crashed the company’s website – over a green dress by P.A.R.O.S.H. Markle stepped out in Aquazzura’s Matilde crisscross suede pumps in nude and accessorised the look with Les Plaisirs de Birks yellow gold and opal earrings.
For her first official outing with Prince Harry, the Duchess wore the Husband Shirt (yes, that’s the official name) by designer Misha Nonoo paired with ankle jeans, an Everlane tote, and Sarah Flint flats.
