Brought to life through the gaze of singer, Nico, and the atmosphere of her album, Camera Obscura, the show celebrated eighties music icons like Nico, Grace Jones, Debbie Harry, Annie Lennox and Siouxsie with album cover-inspired prints, adorning shirts, dresses, jackets and knits.

Nods to the film Blade Runner were conveyed through high-tech fabrics with tailoring, patent finishes and PVC details, while the collection looked at the era through a futuristic lens with elongated silhouettes flaunting sculpted shoulders and waists with lots of layering, belts and contrasting textures.

There was also plenty of oversized outerwear with tailored blazers, ultra-slim coats and knitted mini capes.

These boxier masculine fits were contrasted against ultra-feminine dresses with lurex fringes, transparent embellishments and origami inspired pleats.

Accessories wise, the looks were softened by round-toe Mary Janes, cool cowboy boos and Sportmax’s structured leather bucket bag.

Below, we take a closer look at our favourite looks from the Sportmax Fall Winter 2024 collection at Milan Fashion Week 2024.
