Sarah Jessica Parker is undeniably a fashion icon, she revolutionised the way TV characters dressed as Carrie Bradshaw (with a little help from wardrobe stylist Patricia Field of course) but off the show she also cemented her status as a bonafide fashionista through her bold red carpet choices.
But it seems when it came to her own wedding day, the 51-year-old feels she got it wrong.
Incase you had forgotten, the actress bucked tradition on the day she said ‘I do’ to Matthew Broderick in 1997, wearing a black ruffled Morgane Le Fay gown instead.

“I wish it was because I was badass,” SJP told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live . “I just was too embarrassed to spend any time looking for a wedding dress. There was a store that I liked that I knew, and I just went and got whatever they had hanging.”
But with that beautiful thing called hindsight, she says if she had her time over, “I would do it differently”.
At least she had the bride moment to end all bride moments in that epic Vivienne Westwood gown in the Sex and the City movie to fill that space…
