Float away into a world of sartorial bliss at Roger Vivier’s boutique pop up in Sydney. Inspired by the vast beauty of the sky, this ‘Candy Clouds’ pop up is designed to showcase the Spring/Summer 2024 season.
The set utilizes animated clouds to create a dreamy atmosphere, bringing creative director Gherardo Felloni’s vision to life.
The display is an opportunity to explore where playfulness meets elevated high fashion, bringing the label’s French sensibilities and enthusiasm for joy into one heavenly experience.
In the essence of all Roger Vivier’s endeavours, the level of detail in this celebration of the collection is second to none. It features three-dimensional structures that are reminiscent of huge cotton candy clouds, which were sculpted and painted by Parisian artists.
They add dimension to the backdrop, which was printed and then hand finished to create a realistic sky effect. There is a kind of mystique created in the set, which represents the fantastical elements Felloni brings to his creations, a kind of divine reverie.
So, what can you see at this transportive display?
You can feast your eyes on everything from the Viv’ Canard Slingback Pumps in Patent Leather, to the Belle Metal Buckle Pumps, and, of course, the iconic Viv Choc bag we all need in our wardrobes, stat.
Viv’ Choc Bag in Leather, $6,150, Roger Vivier
Viv’ Canard Slingback Pumps in Patent Leather, $1,710, Roger Vivier
Belle Vivier Metal Buckle Pumps in Patent Leather, $1,370, Roger Vivier
The display leans into the colorways and finishes we saw with the latest collection, from pastel colours to denim, raffia and metallics. Shades of sorbet pink, lilac and powder blue add a little spirit and dreaminess to the showcase.
It is a little taste of the original show, which was held back in September 2023, where a historic hôtel particulier in the heart of Paris was transformed into a parallel cloudfilled universe, a playground to stoke the imagination.
