The 82nd annual Golden Globes are kicking off the 2025 awards season, and given it’s the first ceremony of the new year expectations – particularly for the red carpet arrivals – are high.
The first red carpet of 2025, this Golden Globes Awards will undoubtedly set the tone for the rest of the season to come.
The evening honors the biggest and buzziest shows and films of last year. With Emilia Pérez, The Brutalist, Anora, The Substance, Challengers and Wicked leading the nominations, all eyes will first be on the films’ stars red carpet style before they make their way into the Beverly Hilton Hotel to learn their awards fate.
During the show, Viola Davis will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Ted Danson will receive the Carol Burnett Award.

For those wanting to watch all the red carpet style and must-see awards moments, the Golden Globes will be broadcast in Australian from Monday January 6th at 11am AEDT on Channel 10. You can also stream the show on 10Play from 4.30pm and Paramount+ from 7pm.
Who Is Hosting The Golden Globes In 2025?
This year’s host is comdeian Nikki Glaser whose signature style revolves celebrity roasts. As she takes on the prestigious hosting role however, she told PEOPLE she wont be using her time on stage to take aim at the celebrity guests.
“I’m not out for blood. I want everyone to have a good night,” she says, “I am really in service of the people that are being honored there.”
