For fans of legendary celebrity stylist, Rachel Zoe, news that the original TV fashion icon will be coming back to a screen near you is definitely exciting.
Confirmed by Rachel herself, the stylist has revealed she’s in talks to start a brand new fashion series, this time with shopping built into the business model.
Working with MGM Television, the show will focus on designers from all over the world, competing to sell the most items, all of which will be available to buy after the show has aired.
“This is the show I have always wanted to make,” Rachel told The Hollywood Reporter. “The show will spotlight some of the most talented designers from around the world, and I am thrilled to be able to highlight their work. I have the utmost respect for Mark Burnett and the team at MGM — this is my dream partnership.”
“We are thrilled to have Rachel Zoe on board for this epic global fashion showdown that will bring trendsetting designs to your doorstep. Rachel is the epitome of style and fashion,” MGM’s Mark Burnett followed.
Rachel Zoe starred on The Rachel Zoe Project on Bravo for five seasons, following the famed stylist as she met with fashion designers and clients, making a name for herself in the reality TV world for her dry humour and serious wit.
Although we don’t yet know which network or streaming service the show will be picked up by, we can imagine there are going to be a lot of big sunglasses and Chloé dresses. And you know what? We actually can’t wait.
