During his first Trooping The Colour this weekend, Prince Louis stole the show. From his royal wave to his cute-as-a-button little face, the world fell in love with the youngest royal’s whole demeanor. But on closer inspection, it was his outfit that caught our attention.
Wearing an embroidered blue and white top with matching blue pants, the littlest Cambridge looked all the part a mini prince — and reminded us of his uncle, Prince Harry, attending Trooping The Colour as a child.
Wearing the same outfit as his uncle did in 1986, it seems the royals recycle Trooping The Colour clothing depending on the child. Prince Harry shared his outfit with Prince Louis (also the second son) whereas Prince William handed his down to Prince George — the first born son.
Prince George was seen sporting an identical blue outfit to his father for his first Trooping The Colour in 2013, kickstarting the tradition.
Now all we want to know is what little Master Archie will wear for his debut next year.
