Nonoo, who has been friends with Meghan for eight years after meeting at a lunch in Miami, is a fashion designer who recently collaborated with the duchess for her collection with Smart Works. For the special occasion, the Duchess of Sussex wore one of her most stunning looks to date: a sheer, black Valentino gown which retails for a cool $19,700.

While no clear photos of the royals have been released yet, the select few of Harry and Meghan entering the ceremony show that Meghan has her hair pulled back into a bun and is wearing a pair of gold and diamond feather earrings. Her dress features a V neck, puff sleeves and a clinched waist. Meanwhile, Harry is wearing a black tuxedo.

Despite wedding festivities continuing on into the weekend, Harry and Meghan were spotted leaving Rome on Saturday, presumably heading home to continue preparations for their royal tour.

Recently, the bride, who created her own wedding dress, opened up about her friendship with Meghan, saying that nothing has changed since she met Prince Harry and joined the royal family. “From, you know, the handwritten thank-you letters that you receive, to never missing a birthday, an occasion, checking in,” Nonoo told the New York Times“You may think because someone’s so busy that they’re not there, but that has never changed, how genuinely thoughtful she is.”

“I’m sure people probably think, like, ‘Things must be so different!’ et cetera, et cetera. ‘That must affect her friendships!’” she continued. “But all I can say is that from my perspective, she has not changed as a friend. From when I first met her, to a text that I would send yesterday or today, nothing has ever changed. Nothing.”
