Michelle Yeoh has officially wed her long-time partner, and looked stunning while doing it.
The Oscar-winning actress tied the knot with her partner of 19 years, Jean Todt, in late July, wearing a custom Schiaparelli number for the reception following her long-awaited nuptials.
Yeoh took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the beautiful gown, which included sheer lace sleeves and a slim line lace skirt, complete with a small train.
But the real showstopper of the look was the pearl-coloured bodice, complete with an entire face crafted from a dreamy assortment of pearls, gold, and jewels.
In a close up of the corset, Schiaparelli’s expert craftsmanship is on show, revealing the face’s lifelike blue eyes and even a septum piercing complete with a gold hoop and dangling pearl.
Alongside images of their special day, Yeoh wrote, “Thank q my darling big Brother Diego and Daniel for my stunning @schiaparelli Face of Happiness dress to say hello as Mr & Mrs Todt ❤️❤️”, shouting out the designer at the helm of the iconic brand.
Yeoh surprised fans with news of the wedding earlier this week, sharing a series of snaps from the low-key affair. For the ceremony itself, Yeoh wore a silk blouse and a layered tulle skirt. Her now-husband looked equally dapper in a navy suit and blue tie.
While most other details of the big day have been kept under wraps, a guest, ex-Ferrari Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa, shared a small glimpse at the intimate ceremony via Instagram.
In an image of what looks to be a small pamphlet handed out to guests, Yeoh and Todt wrote:
“We met in Shanghai on 4th June 2004. On 26th July 2004, J.T. proposed to marry M.Y. and she said YES! Today after 6992 days on 27th July 2023 in Geneva, surrounded by loving family and friends, we are so happy to celebrate this special moment together!”
Congratulations to the happy couple!
