Yes, Bella Hadid tripped at the Michael Kors Collection Spring ‘17 show.
But there was plenty more to warrant your attention.
Kendall Jenner and co. took to the runway in chic, city-ready styles: pinstripe suiting, flouncy floral frocks and evening-ready embellished dresses. Boy-meets-girl tailoring- a constant touch point for Kors- had a major moment via asymmetric trench coats, shirting with oversized sleeves and sharp blazers set against fluid fabrics.
As is to be expected of any Michel Kors show, his celebrity fan club dominated the front row. Think Emily Blunt, Sienna Miller and Olivia Palermo to name a few.
In keeping with New York Fashion Week’s optimistic mood, prints were cheerful, cuts were playful (ruffled swimsuits, anyone?) and smiles abounded. A live performance by Rufus Wainwright singing Judy Garland’s “Get Happy” didn’t hurt, either.
