Most street style stars can lay claim to being well-connected and well-travelled. But there are few that can boast the connections or worldliness of Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece.
The 20-year-old daughter of the former crown prince of Greece and his wife Marie-Chantal was raised in London and New York (and attended boarding school in Switzerland) and is goddaughter to Prince Charles.
She is also a burgeoning street style star, with 92k followers on Instagram – and a coveted spot in Michael Kors’ latest fashion campaign, The Walk.
The campaign eschews models for influencers and trendsetters such as Solange Knowles, model Soo Joo Park – and of course Maria-Olympia.
A quick glance at her Instagram feed reveals an aesthetic that’s one part full-blown glamour and two parts off-duty denim – with a smattering of yacht selfies and nostalgic throwback images of her mother and friends (who happen to include Andy Warhol) thrown in.
“I always like to dress as if I would bump into someone special,” the Princess recently told Vanity Fair.
