Meghan Markle’s royal tour wardrobe has been one of the most talked about parts of the Duke and Duchess’ trip to Australia, Fiji and now Tonga.
From the sustainable brands the mother-to-be has been wearing, to the local designers she’s been supporting, every time the Duchess steps out she has our full attention.
Arriving in Tonga yesterday afternoon, Meghan honoured the small island country by wearing a bright red dress (the colour of Tonga) by Self-Portrait. She paired the custom-made design with black pumps and a black clutch and wore her hair down.
But there was one detail about her outfit that the Duchess had missed: the tag of her brand new dress hadn’t been removed.
Photographed stepping off of the flight hand-in-hand with Prince Harry, fans noticed the white tag showing at the bottom of Meghan’s hem, something that pretty much every woman can relate to – seriously, who hasn’t had their t-shirt tag folded back into their top by a stranger at some point?!
Tag or no, the Duchess looked stunning as she arrived for the couple’s three-day visit in Tonga, before heading to New Zealand and then back to Australia for the final leg of their royal tour.
