How Much Meghan Markle’s Royal Tour Wardrobe Has Already Cost

Think of a number, now double it

Since swapping life as an American actress for that of a Duchess, it’s no secret Meghan Markle has had to make some drastic life changes, including that of her wardrobe. Since saying goodbye to her messy buns and crossbody bags, the former actress has embraced an effortlessly chic royal approved wardrobe – one which comes with a hefty price tag.

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex landed in Ireland for their first official tour as a married couple, and with more wardrobe changes than we can wrap our heads around, it appears the Duchess is taking her new role very seriously.

In just two days and four stunning looks, Meghan’s tour wardrobe has been calculated at a whopping $54,442 AUD. Of course, Meghan and Harry aren’t footing the bill: Prince Charles pays for all clothing out of his $28 million Duchy of Cornwall income.

Below, a breakdown of all of Meghan Markle’s royal tour looks so far.

Outfit One: Green Givenchy Blouse And Skirt

The emerald green look consisted of a pencil skirt (available for $2,154) and a bespoke top which Markle paired with Paul Andrew pumps ($847) and a tan Strathberry tote ($831).
