Meghan Markle is slowly but surely perfecting her royal wardrobe, and we bet her experience as an actress means she’s learnt a few hacks from the stylists she’s worked with – such as wearing heavy fabrics to stop her skirt flying up.
Now fashion experts have revealed the trick she uses to make layering seamless, and it’s as simple as a bodysuit.
When Meghan wears a top with a skirt or trousers, she often chooses to shun tops in favour of a one-piece, as it’s less likely to never get untucked.
Only recently, at the launch of her charity cookbook, the Duchess wore a Tuxe cashmere bodysuit with a Misha Nonoo pleated skirt.
She also wore a white blouse bodysuit by the same brand with trousers on a couple of other occasions, as well as a Wolford roll-neck bodysuit with a camel skirt on an outing with Prince Harry – and it’s a smart choice.
According to stylist Alexandra Fullerton told Femail,’ Meghan is very aware of her own style and as someone who favours sleek, chic silhouettes the bodysuit is the perfect option for her.’
‘Bodysuits are a very smart way of dressing as they never bunch or ruche under outfits, meaning she can get on with the business of being a Duchess, rather than worrying that her top is untucking itself.’
We’ll be adding that one to the list then.
