Overnight, Meghan Markle made a surprise trip to Brinsworth House, a nursing home supported by Royal Variety Charity. The Duchess showed off her growing baby bump in a figure-hugging midi dress by Brock Collection with a muted floral print, square neckline and ruched cap sleeves. She wore a pair of her go-to Aquazzura pumps and wore a grey wool coat by Soia & Kyo to keep warm.
During her visit, Meghan joked that she felt “very pregnant” while chatting to one of the residents. The Duchess of Sussex reportedly said she’s “very good,” then she touched her baby bump and added that she’s feeling “very pregnant today,” with a laugh.
Meghan also said she understood having a career, rather than children when talking to a resident. According to People, the Duchess asked whether the woman had “any kids,” to which she responded, “No, I don’t. I had a career.” Meghan answered, “Yes, that I understand.”
Though an exact date hasn’t been announced, Meghan is due to welcome her first child with Prince Harry in the spring. The royals haven’t announced the sex of the royal baby.
