During her first outing since giving birth, Meghan Markle debuted a new piece of jewellery on her ring finger: an eternity band Prince Harry gifted his wife as a first-year anniversary present.
At the same time, the Duchess of Sussex revealed her new, redesigned engagement ring, which was changed from a thicker, all-gold band to one that is noticably thinner and diamond-studded.
With all the attention on Meghan’s redesigned diamonds, we didn’t pay much attention to the special piece of jewellery Harry had gifted his wife to celebrate their anniversary, but thankfully, we now know exactly how it came to be.
Harper’s BAZAAR US has revealed that the Duke of Sussex designed the ring with renowned jeweller Lorraine Schwartz. The ring was reportedly a gift to not only mark the couple’s wedding anniversary, but also their growing family.
The best part? While creating the bespoke diamond eternity band, Harry asked Schwartz to add birthstones for Meghan, Archie, and himself on the underside. The bottom of the ring secretly features a green emerald for Archie, a blue sapphire for Harry, and an olive-green peridot stone for Meghan.
Adorable. Where can we find a charming prince like this?!
