Despite still being on maternity leave and excused from royal duties, Meghan Markle surprised everyone when she attended a baseball game between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox in London with Prince Harry over the weekend.
The new parents couldn’t look more loved up for their second public outing since giving birth to their son, Archie Harrison and the Duchess of Sussex was all smiles as she met with players on both American teams to commemorate the first Major League Baseball game of the season.
Taking advantage of London’s sunny weather, Meghan wore a Stella McCartney little black dress with a waist-cinching belt to the London stadium. She had on a pair of black, pointed-toe flats by Aquazzura (one of her go-to shoe designers) and her newly-redesigned engagement ring with a gold bracelet.
While the royal couple didn’t bring 7-week-old Baby Archie, they were gifted adorable outfits for him from each team with the mini Yankees onesie including the royal baby’s name emblazoned on the back.
Meghan’s surprise appearance comes days after it was reported that the 37-year-old plans on attending Wimbledon to support her friend, Serena Williams. The tennis tournament runs through to July 14th and was the place Meghan and her sister-in-law Kate Middleton made their first public outing together, watching Serena play Angelique Kerber in the Ladies’ Single Final last year.
We also know for sure that we’ll be seeing a lot of the family of three come spring, after they announced a royal tour of South Africa with Baby Archie is confirmed.
