You may assume that the wardrobe of a royal would only consist of the most luxurious and expensive of brands. But for Meghan Markle, that’s simply not the case.
One of the many reasons why we love the Duchess of Sussex is for her style, and while it is certainly chic and on-trend, it’s also attainable.
With access to almost every luxury designer brand imaginable, she frequently enjoys mixing high-end pieces with more affordable ones.
Alongside her stylist (and BFF) Jessica Mulroney, Meghan is no stranger to popular brands such as Lululemon, Club Monaco and &Other Stories.
And with her lower-priced preferences, that means that we, too, can dress like Meghan without the jaw-dropping price tag.
From her dedication to Aritzia, to supporting sustainability with Everlane, we’ve rounded up Meghan Markle’s favourite affordable fashion brands of all time.

Everlane
Worn on two separate occasions by Meghan, the sustainable brand Everlane is one of her go-to affordable brands. In her most memorable Everlane ensemble, Meghan wore their ‘Japanese GoWeave Essential Jumpsuit’, which subsequently sold out right after she was spotted wearing it.
Reformation
Not shying away from casual attire, Meghan remains dedicated to her sustainable fashion choices, with the popular brand, Reformation. During the Sussex’s royal tour in Australia in 2018, Meghan went full beach-chic in their ‘Jada Dress’. Pairing it with a classic pair of black sunglasses and lace-up falts, Meghan’s affordable sundress is a constant sell-out.
Madewell
A regular in Meghan’s casual wardrobe, is her dedication to good-quality but affordable denim pieces. On her second day of her South Africa tour, the Duchess introduced us to the beauty of Madewell, a sustainable brand with a focus on denim. Wearing their iconic denim jacket, Meghan paired it with an equally-as-attainable pair of jeans from MOTHER denim. She was also spotted carrying her favourite tan-coloured ‘Transport Tote’, bought from Madewell as well.
J.Crew
From the U.S. Open in 2019 to her many airport appearances, it seems as if preppy brand J.Crew is certainly one of Meghan’s go-to fashion choices. The affordable, All-American brand has been spotted on the Duchess at least eight times and it looks as if she has no intention of stopping any time soon. Most recently being spotted in their ‘Everyday Chambray Shirt’ top in the viral video, where she read to her son, Archie from her Californian home. One of her most popular J.Crew finds was the ‘Tipped Wrap Coat’, which immediately sold-out.
Aritzia
A regular favourite on her tour of South Africa last year, was her iconic ‘Babaton Maxwell Dress’, that cost a mere $50, and which she wore on more than one occasion. It comes as no surprise that Meghan is a fan of supporting affordable designers, however, Aritzia clearly seems to be one of her favourites. Spotted in coats, shirt dresses and jackets from the label, Meghan seems to have no intention of saying goodbye to the Canadian brand any time soon.
Mayamiko
Throughout her tour of Cape Town in 2019, Meghan certainly didn’t shy away from supporting local designers, like Mayamiko. A fair trade label from Malawi, Mayamiko’s ‘Dalitso Maxi Wrap Dress’ was an instant hit as the brand’s pieces typically stand below the $200 mark. Plus, her support in their regional talent saw the dress sell-out rapidly.
