There were *so* many stars at Alexander Wang

Thanks to Alexander Wangโ€™s cryptic social media countdowns and penchant for tongue-in-cheek theatrics (pole dancers were a highlight last season), his show is always one of the most highly anticipated of New York Fashion Week.

As expected, Spring โ€™17 lived up to the hype. Famous fans Madonna, Zoe Kravitz and Kylie Jenner sat front row. Wangโ€™s squad of in-demand models like Kendall Jenner, Lexi Boling and Binx Walton took to the runway. The epic after-party was catered by 7-Eleven and McDonaldโ€™s.

But what of the clothes?

They didnโ€™t disappoint, either. Neon bike caps and Point Break-esque sweatshirts are sure to appeal to his #instafamous followers, but there was plenty for mere mortals to enjoy- deconstructed shirting and pinstripes perfect for the modern workplace, weekend-ready distressed denim and lace-trimmed slip dresses come cocktail hour. Wang signatures- 90s silhouettes, masculine fabrics, sporty undertones- were reinvented with mesh inserts, hits of animal print and top-stitched finishes.

Another headline-making highlight? The unveiling of the 84-piece adidas Originals x Alexander Wang capsule collection, which will land online early 2017. Expect to see all the cool kids in black tracksuit pants, tees and hoodies with adidasโ€™ signature stripes and logos flipped upside down.
