Kendall Jenner Doubles Down On This Tricky Trend

Jungle fever

Kendall Jenner is no stranger to making or breaking trends. She’s a veritable chameleon when it comes to trying out new styles, whether it be rubbery latex or ultra oversized, and always knows how to pull off even the trickiest of trends.

Now, the model has confirmed what we sort of already knew, that snakeskin is here to stay.

Stepping out for the launch of Edition Hotels in Times Square, New York, Jenner chose to double down on the slithering trend, going for a snakeskin skirt and shirt duo fit for a jungle queen.

Leaving the buttons of the Ronny Kobo top undone, Jenner tucked the silky shirt into the mini, allowing the traditional skirt-shirt combination take on a newer, party-ready life.

Joined by fellow models Elsa Hosk, Cara Delevingne, Hailey Bieber and Joan Smalls, Jenner’s best accessories were her friends, forgoing a bag — because when you’re as rich and famous as Kendall, you don’t really need one.

Snakeskin has been dominating the streets and runways for the better half of a year, with jungle prints like leopard, tiger and snake seen everywhere from New York to Copenhagen in recent months, popping up on boots, jackets and even bucket hats. A trend? For sure. But as Jenner just proved, the humble snakeskin might be cementing itself as a new staple.
