Just two days after Lady Gaga wore a show-stopping oversized Marc Jacobs suit, Katie Holmes made a power suit statement of her own, stepping out in a grey Prada two-piece to attend the American Ballet Theatre Fall Gala with her mother, Kathleen, as her date.
The oversized Prada suit came complete with a unique feather trim, which Katie accentuated by wearing her hair pulled back into a sleek bun.
The actress completed the chic look with strappy sandals, a black clutch and layered gold necklaces, while her lookalike mother opted for a royal blue gown.
The Dawson’s Creek star joins a long list of celebrities opting to wear pants to red carpet events, including Blake Lively, who wore seven different pantsuits in seven days recently.
