A rule breaker, a rebel, a renegade. The Rogue handbag from Coach has always set its own agenda: structured but soft, polished yet playful, chic by day and sleek by night. The design made its debut in 2016, quickly becoming a house favourite, and this year it’s relaunched in a new eco-friendly jacquard and a range of buttery-soft leathers.
“The Rogue is perhaps my favourite bag I’ve designed at Coach,” says creative director Stuart Vevers of the grab-and-go silhouette. “It has that combination of heritage, offbeat attitude and a sense of authentic American style that perfectly embodies my vision for the house.”
The accompanying campaign stars the consummate rebel, Kate Moss, along with Jennifer Lopez and model Xiao Wen Ju, who tote the bag around London, Los Angeles and Shanghai respectively. It’s a vision of big-city style, although the piece will be available on Australian shores, too.
In addition, a new digital experience will transport shoppers to a virtual workspace where they can design and customise their own handbag. Choose your own palette, add some personalised touches, and – naturally – go a little bit rogue.
