The Duchess of Cambridge is making the most of summer in London, stepping out overnight wearing a paisley printed dress and her favourite warm weather shoes: Castañer Espadrille Wedges.
Despite the Queen reportedly banning royal women from wearing wedges in her company due to a dislike of the shoe (oh, to have that power), Kate hasn’t let her grandmother-in-law put her off wearing the comfortable heels for her own events.
Taking on her new role as royal patron of The Royal Photographic Society – a job previously held by the queen for over 60 years – the Duchess visited a photography workshop co-hosted by the institution.
The mother-of-three wore her hair in her signature loose curls with statement earrings and her wedges, which she has worn numerous times, most recently at the Chelsea Flower Show with Prince William.
