Red carpet appearances are few and far between for Kate Middleton, but whenever the opportunity rolls around, she doesn’t disappoint.
Middleton stepped out for the premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in London overnight in a stunning floor-length Roland Mouret gown, which featured a fitted black bodice with a white off-shoulder neckline. She wore her hair straight and loose, adding crystal star-adorned drop earrings.
The 40-year-old attended the premiere alongside husband Prince William, who brought his own fashion twist to the red carpet by wearing a black tux along with a pair of loafers by Crockett & Jones—if you look closely, you’ll note they were embroided with F18 planes.
The pair were joined by the stars of the highly anticipated film, including Tom Cruise who walked Kate up the stairs to pose for photos.
Along with Cruise, they chatted to Jennifer Connelly and Miles Teller.
This wasn’t actually the first time Kate and William have reportedly watched the movie.
According to reports, William and Kate went to a special screening of the sequel via an invitation from Cruise himself.
Cruise was aware that William was a big fan of the original movie, which was released in 1986.
“We have a lot in common,” Cruise said of William, per My London. “We both love England and we’re both aviators, we both love flying.”
