The Duchess of Cambridge headed out to Stockwell Gardens Nursery & Pre-School, part of London’s Early Years Foundation (LEYF), to promote her “5 Big Questions on the Under 5s” –a survey that aims to determine how early experiences impact health and wellbeing in later life.
In a break from her typically darker winter wardrobe, Kate opted for a cheery teal coat – the perfect pop of colour for a day spent hanging out with kids. She paired her outerwear with a Sézane cream Tulio jumper as well as black skinny jeans and a pair of boots by Russell & Bromley. As usual, her chestnut locks were styled in her signature lose, bouncy waves and the duchess was all smiles as she headed into the school.
During her time at Stockwell Gardens Nursery & Pre-School, Kate helped serve eager kindergarteners breakfast, in order to draw attention to childhood nutrition. Reportedly, the duchess spoke to staff and children at the nursery, as well as members of LEYF Early Years Chef Academy, which trains chefs in creating nutritious food for under 8s.
