Kate Middleton Follows Up Her Golden ‘James Bond’ Moment With A Pop Of Purple

The Duchess stepped out mere hours after attending the red carpet.

If there was any way to follow up a fashion statement as good as Kate Middleton’s glimmering golden dress at the No Time To Die London premiere this week, it would come straight from the style queen herself.

Indeed, mere hours after she (and her gold Jenny Packham dress) went viral on the red carpet at the James Bond premiere, the Duchess awoke the following morning to bring yet another major style statement to the global stage. Except this time, it was all purple.

The 39-year-old and her husband Prince William stepped out together to attend several engagements in Derry-Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

There, the couple visited Ulster University’s Magee Campus, and as Kate took her first step out of the car, it didn’t take much for all eyes to immediately focus on her.

Why so, you ask? Well her bright purple pantsuit by Emilia Wickstead did the trick quite nicely.

The Duchess added a basic black turtleneck beneath the suit, and accessorised with Emmy London heels. She wore her hair in a swept back pony-tail.

During the visit, the Duke and Duchess engaged with students, saw a petting farm and had a quick beverage at the student union. No doubt a nostalgic throwback to their own University days in Scotland.

Later that day, both William and Kate made a swift outfit change in order to have a throw around on the rugby pitch with some of the sporting students.

Both the Duke and Duchess had a go at kicking a rugby ball (to varying degrees of success), enjoying the mini-workout together.

The busy week of events comes after a quiet couple of months for the Cambridges, who spent the summer laying low with their three children George, Charlotte and Louis.

Now, it looks like they’re well and truly back in action—three outfits in less than 24 hours has got us right back into the swing of royal fashion watching.
