The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton stepped out with Prince William to visit the Evelina London Children’s hospital. The 37-year-old was named a patron of the hospital ahead of her visit.
Kate greeted and played with kids in a green dress by L.K. Bennett, which was covered in polka dots and included a matching L.K. Bennett “Dora” clutch.
As reported by The Sun, Kate’s role will give the mum-of-three the opportunity to champion medical professionals and shine a light on their work supporting youngsters in their early years.
Marian Ridley, director of Evelina London, said: “The Duchess shares our passion for giving children and young people the very best start in life and her royal highness’s support will help champion the lifesaving care our staff are providing to our patients”.
For Prince William the visit holds a special meaning – he first visited the children’s hospital with his late mother Princess Diana when he was just 12-years-old.
