Kate Middleton Makes A Case For Head-To-Toe Camel Just In Time For The Chilly Season

Your winter wardrobe is sorted!

Kate Middleton has long mastered the art of tonal dressing, sporting endless chic fashion pieces that many of us add straight to our wish lists. While on a trip to Orkney, Scotland with Prince William on May 25, 2021, the Duchess of Cambridge made a case for monochrome, timeless dressing but this time, switching up her signature silhouette.

The Duchess of Cambridge donned her signature camel-hued overcoat from Italian designer Massimo Dutti, and paired the outerwear with matching neutral wide-leg trousers, a neutral jumper and a suede clutch purse to create a somewhat ‘70s silhouette that certainly suited the future Queen.

Kate also opted to finish off her chic look, by paying homage to her Scottish title, the Countess of Strathearn, by wearing a yellow, red, and black tartan scarf and gold drop earrings from Scottish brand Hamilton & Inches.

When it came to beauty, the Duchess chose to style her hair in a voluminous, half ponytail and natural makeup.

But Kate wasn’t the only one coordinating their look, Prince William sported a navy blue jumper with a matching pair of trousers. However, he opted for a brown textured blazer, that not only broke up the blue, but also perfectly complemented his wife’s attire.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent their trip visiting the local hospital to participate in its grand opening, after it replaced the previous hospital which has served the Scottish community for 90 years.

Thanks to its new location, it has meant that many NHS services from the Scottish mainland have been restored and Orkney’s population have been able to receive most of their health care at home.

As the cooler climate fast approaches the Southern Hemisphere, replicating Kate’s tonal attire doesn’t have to be difficult or break the bank. Below, we’ve rounded up similar styles that match her head-to-toe camel look.
