It’s a style switch-up that’s sparked speculation the Duchess is taking fashion advice from her future sister-in-law Meghan Markle, who has worn black cigarette pants to most of her royal occasions so far.
Kate teamed her black jeans with a floral Hobbs top, Goat cream coat and – impressive for a woman eight months’ pregnant – black suede Jimmy Choo heels.
She and Prince William were meeting with wheelchair basketball players ahead of the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
