You know the one: the cobalt blue, long-sleeved wrap dress Kate Middleton wore when it was announced she would be the future Duchess of Cambridge. Pairing perfectly with her brilliant sapphire engagement ring, the dress swiftly sold out – and actually sent the brand behind it, Issa, into administration as it struggled to cope with demand.
Eight years later, Issa is back (albeit within the House of Fraser stable) with a fresh iteration of the Duchess’s famous engagement dress. Fittingly named the Kate Tie Wrap Dress, it’s now available in four colours (including the cobalt blue), and a longer mid-calf length style.
Harper’s Bazzar UK reports that even more colours will be released at the end of the month. Given that the design retails for an achievable $175, you could dress as Kate Middleton every day of the week (disclaimer: we are not for a minute suggesting this).
