Kate Middleton isn’t one to shy away from making a fashion statement, no less a colourful one.
Her latest? A bright green top and coat which was aptly put together in the name of the very engagement she was attending alongside her husband, Prince William.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Kew Gardens where they joined a group of students from The Heathlands School in Hounslow. The event was to promote Generation Earthshot, an initiative aiming to encourage students to come up with ideas that will help to provide solutions to environmental challenges across the world.
During the event, the royals took part in a workshop with the students as they chatted animatedly and shared their ideas.
Ever one to adapt to her surroundings, Kate’s fitting green ensemble consisted a coat by Erdem and a matching green short sleeved jumper. she added wide legged trousers to finish the look.
The Duchess wore her enviable brunette locks in long loose waves.
The outing comes as the pair prepare to announce the winners of the official Earthshot Prize, which will be broadcast live this coming Sunday.
The awards recognise scientists and creatives who have come up with possible solutions and initiatives that will lessen the impact of climate change. Five winners will be chosen from a list of 15 finalists that are spread across the world.
It’s expected that both Kate and William will attend the glamorous event—so expect another striking ensemble from the queen of chic herself.
