When Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance at Wimbledon with two of her oldest friends, our eyes quickly turned to the familiar piece of jewellery the Duchess of Sussex opted for the event.
The trio watched Serena Williams’ game during day four of the tennis tournament with the new mum dressing in a casual jeans and blazer combo. At closer inspection of the then royals casual outfit, there were two pieces of jewellery that caught our attention: firstly, her adorable gold ‘A’ necklace for newborn Archie Harrison made by Sydney-based Verse Fine Jewellery and secondly, a new blue heart ring by New Zealand-born, London-based designer Jessica McCormack.
The delicate pinky ring is McCormack’s Signature Sapphire Heart Button Back Ring and the designer wrote on Instagram that it’s for “lovers of boys and mothers of boys and also for lovers of the chicest colour combo, navy blue and black.”

That wasn’t the first time the Duchess of Sussex had worn the Kiwi designer, either. When she was in New Zealand as part of her and Harry’s official tour, she wore a spiral-shaped ‘Tattoo’ necklace while giving a speech about the importance of feminism. She’s also since worn earrings designed by McCormack.
McCormack has fast become a favourite among celebrities such as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley – who is almost never without her Ball n Chain diamond necklace – Victoria Beckham and Rihanna. After launching her hugely popular first engagement ring collection in 2018 with six signature styles, McCormack has expanded to include a wider range and now makes custom designs.
Below, see how celebrities are styling the popular jewellery brand – but a word of warning, your wish list is about to expand, severely.
