Jennifer Lopez is clearly embracing her new Mrs. Affleck persona by taking to the streets of Paris on her honeymoon to continue her PDA-filled street style reign.
If you cast your mind back to September 2021 (when the possibility of a Bennifer wedding was only a twinkle in our eye), Jennifer and Ben frequented the Upper East Side in fashion forward ensembles to terrorise us all with their overt public displays of affection.
Now, the loved-up newly weds are gallivanting around Paris’ arrondissements with their blended family to bring love to the City of Lights.
Several days after their low-key Las Vegas wedding, Ben and Jen jetted out with Jennifer’s twins, 14-year-old Max and Emme, and Ben’s two daughters Violet (16) and Seraphina (13).
Their romantic itinerary included private tours along the Seine, a trip to the Lourve and (naturally) visiting France’s coveted luxury fashion maison’s along the Champs-Élysées and Rue Saint-Honoré.
However the trip’s pièce de résistance wasn’t their family-friendly affair or seeing the couple flaunt their post-wedding glow, although that could also have something to do with the soaring temperatures raging through Europe.
Our highlight was seeing the newly appointed Mrs. Jennifer Affleck embrace the best fashion a European summer wardrobe has to offer with her lavish honeymoon ensembles.
But before we get to breaking down the balmy summer dresses that JLO has been sporting (and we’ve naturally been coveting), we have to discuss the musician-slash-actress’ impressive handbag collection.
While we should’ve known that Jennifer was a purse fiend after partnering with legendary New York label Coach, we could’ve never imagined what Jennifer had in store for us. Sorry Ben, but this is the arm candy we really care about.
For her romantic river ride, the 53-year-old paired a Reformation floral midi dress with the highly-lauded brown leather Gucci Diana mini tote bag.
While the bamboo-handled accessory du jour was named after the late Princess Diana, Lopez is giving Alessandro Michele every reason to rename the style the ‘JLO in Paris’.
Later that evening, as Lopez changed into another floral dress—this time a long sleeve maxi variety. Completing the ensemble was an opulent trunk purse that she gripped in one hand and held Ben’s in another.
To celebrate her 53rd birthday, Jennifer opted for another Reformation option. Trying her hand at the ‘Barbiecore’ trend, Lopez wore a cherry coloured halter neck with a plunging keyhole accent.
A raspberry, or should we say PP Pink coloured Valentino One Stud bag topped off the look.
Given her recent nuptials, it’s understandable that Jennifer is leaning into this more relaxed silhouette rather than her ultra-glammed up street style in Los Angeles. Here, she’s making the most of the Mediterranean and channelling joie de vivre.
Although it seems that the celebrity style set’s dominance over the continent seems to be slowing down, we’ll happily take this chance to indulge ourselves in the best Euro summer ‘fits.
