Hilary Duff is the latest celebrity to cause controversy with her Halloween costume.
She attended a Halloween party with her boyfriend Jason Walsh in a couples costume – he was a native American Indian and she was a pilgrim.

She has already faced backlash on the Internet for her insensitive decision, and has been labeled as ‘racist’.

The Younger actress took to Twitter to apologise for her decision, saying it was not ‘properly thought out’.

Stars who have caused controversy in the past include Chris Hemsworth, who wore a First Nations costume last year, Julianne Hough who wore blackface as a character from Orange Is The New Black last year.
