Hailey Baldwin Did A Princess Diana Inspired Photoshoot

Wearing the royal's most iconic off-duty looks

Princess Diana’s style has long been a source of inspiration for millions of women around the world, so much so that her best post-divorce outfits are documented on an Instagram account with over 20,000 followers, named fittingly ‘Lady Di Revenge Looks’.

Over the past few years, one of Princess Diana’s most iconic wardrobe staples – bike shorts – have come back into fashion with models and It girls, such as Kim Kardashian and Em Rata, often wearing the laidback look. Paying tribute to Diana’s athletic, off-duty style in all its bike short glory is Hailey Bieber in the latest issue of Vogue Paris.

For the photo shoot, the magazine dressed Hailey in almost exact replicas of Diana’s most well-known fashion moments, such as the blazer and cowboy boots the royal wore in 1988 to the polo and her signature oversized university jerseys with sneakers.

Hailey took to Instagram to share photos from the shoot, writing that she has looked to Princess Diana for style inspiration for “as long as I can remember.”

“[All] credit and inspo to the amazingly beautiful and iconically stylish Princess Diana who I’ve looked to for style inspiration for as long as I can remember,” she wrote in her caption. “Thank you for leaving behind such an iconic fashion and style legacy.”
