It’s a new era for Henne.
The beloved Australian fashion brand is expanding, opening its second-ever store, and first in Sydney, this week.
Located in Paddington’s popular Fiveways district, the retail space sits within the walls of a charming 19th-century terrace and has been designed with the brand’s aesthetic in mind. The interior was brought to life in collaboration with Brahman Perera, inspired by abstract expressionist artists like Willem de Kooning and Theaster Gates. In keeping with Henne’s signature, cool-girl take on sophistication, the venue features warm timber touches, citrus-coloured perspex accents and a striking red staircase.
“Sydney has always been on our radar for expansion, especially after experiencing the tremendous support from our customers in Melbourne. When the opportunity arose to secure a lease in Paddington, we knew it was the perfect fit for our brand,” said Nadia Bartel, Henne Director. “Our Sydney boutique is more than just a retail space; it’s a place for our customers to connect with the brand, attend VIP events and styling sessions. We are committed to fostering a sense of belonging and inclusivity within our NSW community.”
The brand celebrated the launch of its new store with an intimate event on June 13. Bartel was joined by media and friends of the brand for an evening at the store, complete with champagne, a live band a giant raspberry cake.
The celebrations are set to continue this weekend and the party will be open to the public, too. On June 15, Henne is partnering with pasta cart Pepi’s, where guests will be able to check out the new Sydney store while enjoying a complimentary Pasta Alla Vodka in the boutique’s courtyard between 12-2pm.
Be sure to stop by and shop from June 18; with the new, Henne Sydney store located at 215 Glenmore Road, Paddington.
