Last night, international supermodel Georgia Fowler hosted the 2018 Fashion Laureate Awards at Sydney’s State Theatre, alongside Aussie comedian and actor Ash Williams. The evening, which celebrates the best in the Australian fashion industry, had guests such as model Adut Akech and Montana Cox taking to the red carpet in incredible floor-length gowns, while designers such as Lucy Folk, Albus Lumen and Romance Was Born were given recognition for their standout brands.
18-year-old Akech took home model of the year after her incredible runway season, which saw her walk in shows such as Saint Laurent and Chanel and quickly be dubbed the country’s next supermodel.
